At Sorena Car Audio, we believe exceptional craftsmanship deserves clear accountability. From premium audio systems and wireless Apple CarPlay integration to ambient lighting, cameras, and custom interior enhancements, we are committed to professional workmanship and transparent service.
We stand behind qualifying products purchased from Sorena Car Audio and installation workmanship performed by our technicians with a one-year limited warranty, subject to the terms below.
01 Our One-Year Limited Warranty
Sorena Car Audio provides a limited warranty for twelve (12) months beginning on the completion date shown on the original invoice. This warranty covers qualifying defects in products purchased directly from Sorena Car Audio and installation workmanship performed by our technicians. Covered products and services are identified on the customer invoice.
Products sold by Sorena Car Audio are covered against qualifying manufacturing or material defects for one year. If a manufacturer provides a longer warranty, that additional coverage is subject to the manufacturer’s own terms. Nothing in this policy reduces nonwaivable rights under applicable law.
02 Installation Workmanship
Our workmanship warranty covers defects directly resulting from installation performed by Sorena Car Audio, including:
- Improper wiring or electrical connections.
- Improperly secured components or installation hardware.
- Incorrect installation or integration with factory vehicle electronics.
- Other verified defects attributable to our installation workmanship.
If a covered workmanship defect is confirmed within the warranty period, Sorena Car Audio will correct the installation at no additional charge, including reasonable diagnostics necessary to identify and correct the covered defect.
03 Vehicle Electronics & Factory Systems
Modern vehicles contain interconnected computers, sensors, control modules, and electrical networks. Aftermarket products may interact with these systems. Sorena Car Audio takes reasonable precautions and follows applicable professional installation practices when integrating equipment.
This warranty is not a comprehensive warranty for the entire vehicle. We are not responsible for independent electrical, mechanical, or electronic failures unrelated to our products or workmanship. If a malfunction or damage is established to have resulted directly from defective installation by Sorena Car Audio, we will address our responsibility in accordance with applicable law.
04 Battery, Alternator & Parasitic-Draw Concerns
Vehicle battery and charging-system performance may be affected by battery condition, alternator operation, factory electronics, usage patterns, existing wiring, and aftermarket accessories. Battery discharge, alternator failure, and parasitic electrical draw are not automatically installation defects.
Sorena Car Audio is not responsible for these issues when independently caused by conditions unrelated to our work. If a covered product or installation defect is established as the cause, the defect will be corrected under the applicable warranty. Diagnostic evidence will be considered in determining the cause of a reported issue.
05 Pre-Existing Vehicle Conditions
Vehicles may arrive with aging or damaged wiring, weak batteries, prior aftermarket installations, faulty modules, water intrusion, previous accident repairs, damaged trim, or other existing conditions. Sorena Car Audio is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or unrelated failures that were not caused by our work.
If our technicians discover a condition requiring additional work, we may recommend further inspection or repairs. Any chargeable additional work must be authorized by the customer before proceeding. A pre-existing condition does not excuse separate damage directly caused by our defective workmanship.
06 Customer-Supplied Equipment
Products supplied by customers or purchased elsewhere are not covered under Sorena Car Audio’s product warranty. We cannot warrant their manufacturing quality, authenticity, suitability, software compatibility, or reliability. However, eligible installation workmanship performed by Sorena Car Audio remains subject to our one-year workmanship warranty.
When a concern is caused by defective customer-supplied equipment rather than our installation, additional diagnostic or labor charges may apply with customer authorization.
07 Third-Party Repairs & Modifications
Sorena Car Audio cannot warrant damage caused by subsequent third-party modifications, repairs, disconnections, rewiring, or improper alterations. If third-party work directly causes or contributes to the reported problem, the resulting defect may be excluded from coverage. Unrelated third-party work does not automatically invalidate the original warranty.
Whenever reasonably possible, customers should contact Sorena Car Audio before arranging outside repairs of a suspected installation defect. For urgent safety issues, customers should take reasonable steps to protect the vehicle and preserve relevant photographs, diagnostic findings, and repair records.
08 Apple CarPlay, Android Auto & Software
Multimedia interfaces and connected accessories may depend on vehicle firmware, operating systems, mobile devices, applications, or third-party services. Changes issued by Apple, Google, vehicle manufacturers, or other providers may alter compatibility or functionality.
Our warranty covers qualifying hardware and installation defects, but does not guarantee the future availability or unchanged operation of independent third-party software and services. A covered product or workmanship defect remains eligible for warranty service even if software is also involved.
09 Cameras, Sensors & Driver-Assistance Products
Backup cameras, dash cameras, parking sensors, blind-spot systems, and related accessories are supplemental aids, not substitutes for attentive driving and safe vehicle operation. Weather, lighting, obstruction, calibration, and product limitations may affect performance.
Sorena Car Audio does not guarantee that these products will prevent accidents, theft, injury, or property loss. This provision does not exclude responsibility for defective products or negligent installation to the extent responsibility is imposed by applicable law.
10 Custom Interiors, Ambient Lighting & Starlight Headliners
Custom installations may require temporary removal and reinstallation of panels, trim, upholstery, headliners, or other interior components. Our workmanship warranty covers qualifying defects in installation-related mounting, connections, or function.
Pre-existing cosmetic damage, unrelated material deterioration, and normal wear are not covered. Sorena Car Audio remains responsible, as required by law, for damage directly caused by our work.
11 General Exclusions
To the extent permitted by law, this limited warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by:
- Accidents, collisions, misuse, abuse, or improper operation.
- Flooding, water intrusion, fire, or environmental exposure unrelated to our workmanship.
- Ordinary wear and tear or pre-existing vehicle deterioration.
- Third-party modifications or repairs that cause the reported failure.
- Defective vehicle systems or unrelated factory components.
- Independent changes to third-party software or services beyond our control.
An exclusion applies only to the extent the excluded condition caused the reported issue. No exclusion eliminates nonwaivable consumer protection rights.
12 Warranty Claims & Diagnostic Procedures
To request warranty service, contact Sorena Car Audio during the warranty period and provide the original invoice or other proof of purchase, vehicle information, a description of the concern, and any available supporting photographs or diagnostic records.
We will arrange an appropriate inspection. When a covered defect is confirmed, Sorena Car Audio will provide the applicable repair or replacement at no charge for covered parts and labor. If a covered defect cannot reasonably be resolved by repair or replacement, an appropriate alternative remedy will be provided as required by law.
Where diagnostic findings establish that the issue is unrelated to covered products or workmanship, additional diagnostic or repair charges may apply. We will disclose such charges and obtain customer authorization before chargeable work begins.
13 Vehicle Care & Personal Property
We exercise reasonable care while vehicles are entrusted to our facility. Customers are encouraged to remove valuables and identify known mechanical, electrical, cosmetic, or structural issues before service. Sorena Car Audio is not responsible for unrelated loss or damage; nothing in this policy limits responsibility for damage caused by our acts or omissions where such limitation is prohibited by law.
14 Incidental Costs & Additional Expenses
This limited warranty provides the remedies stated for covered product and workmanship defects. It does not independently include rental cars, transportation, lodging, lost income, or similar reimbursement benefits. This term does not exclude damages or other remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.
15 Manufacturer Warranties
Certain products may include coverage extending beyond Sorena Car Audio’s one-year warranty. Manufacturer warranties are governed by the relevant manufacturer’s written terms, eligibility rules, and claims procedures. Sorena Car Audio may assist customers with qualifying claims.
16 Factory Vehicle Warranties
The installation of aftermarket equipment does not automatically void a vehicle’s entire factory warranty. However, a vehicle manufacturer may deny a particular claim where an aftermarket product or installation caused the claimed damage, subject to applicable law. Customers should review their vehicle warranty documentation. Sorena Car Audio does not control decisions made by manufacturers or dealerships.
17 Legal Rights & Policy Interpretation
This policy applies to qualifying products and services on the customer’s purchase and installation documents. Any additional written coverage will be governed by its own terms. This limited warranty is in addition to rights and remedies that cannot be waived under California or federal law.
Nothing in this policy is intended to release Sorena Car Audio from liability for fraud, willful misconduct, unlawful conduct, or other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions will apply to the extent permitted by law.
